These lamps are hard to install even for an expert. We use them over the bed for reading, and they serve their purpose well. The dimmer is a nice feature. The lampshades are uninteresting - we used our own. We think they are expensive but they match our furniture. [...] there was a fluorescent bulb in the box so we thought we could use it. But it will not fit inside the harp. You must use an incandescent bulb.

Very simple but well made. Finishes very attractive. Installation was simple, but inserting bottom set screws was a little tricky. The full range dimmer is great while the spouse is sleeping!
