When you change the 18W bulbs to 21W bulbs light improves, but is still not very bright. However transformator supports definitely 6x21 Watt bulbs. Would be nice to sell Product already with 21Watt bulbs.

Good Product but it has its limitations
By Lighting Newbie from New Jersey on 8/24/2010
Pros:
Easy to install, Good price value, Weather Resistant, Good quality, Attractive Design
Cons:
Low Wattage, Limited Install Options
Best Uses:
Walkway, Back Yard, Front Yard, Gardens
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The overall quality is good, aluminum lights, glass bulb covers, good size ground stakes, decent transformer and everything needed for a basic light installation. The limitation I found is when you want to run more than one straight row of lights. I wanted to stagger my lights on each side of my walkway which required a second cable run. The transformer has only one connection point, so it gets crowded if you have more than one run. There's enough power in the transformer to add a couple lights but if you want to have more than two runs in your landscape this kit is not for you. Also, the wattage on the bulbs in 18w but the light was more subtle than expected. If you want bright this kit is not the one.

Appearance of lamps is attractive without being too ornamental. the light from the lamps is somewhat subtle, but brilliant enough to light a pathway when lamps are placed ~ 4 ft apart. The 100 ft of wiring allows the lights to be distributed over a large area. Solar transformer with timer option is great!

Good product, some issues

Good product that is well built, but the connector boxes don't provide the most reliable interface with the wiring. The connector boxes contain two metal prongs that pierce the insulation to contact the wiring inside, and moving the wiring or connector box can cause contact to be lost and the light to flicker.
