We chose this fixture to place over the island in our kitchen. The main light for the kitchen was removed and this has been our primary source of light. It looks great. Coupled with a matching eat in kitchen light (also purchased from lapsplus) and some under cabinet lighting, we are working towards the perfect looking kitchen (on a budget).

I got this for over my kitchen island. I got the dimmer so that I can ajusted as needed, great.I love the design and the amount of light.

I purchased this light at least four years ago. It is placed over the island in my kitchen and is much brighter than I expected, but that turned out to be a plus. It has a beautiful design. The only con - it is difficult to get the replacement parts - I have had to replace a shade twice (not the fault of the product).

This light is perfect over my 4'x6' kitchen island. My electician had a hard time installing it for some reason - think it takes 2 people - but it works and hasn't fallen down yet. The halogen bulbs burn out every 2 months or so, which is getting expensive! I don't mind, they are easy to change and I love the fixture.

Everyone who enters my kitchen and dinning room loves my lighting. They are very unique and one of a kind. They were very easy to install. I shopped for months looking for the lighting for my new kitchen. I tolerated wire hanging from the ceiling until I found these lights. I am a proud owner of a new kitchen with the perfect lights. Just ask my friends.
