No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I would not use this for a ceiling fan ever. I managed to make it work for a small flush mount ceiling light. I couldn't figure it out, and ended up using the pieces in the kit to make something that worked. Probably not up to code though. Pro: They give you a lot of pieces to improvise with. Con: There's got to be a better way.
