We have the walnut mission lamp (2) and this ceiling light ties our craftsman cottage together in a cohesive/cooordinated way. It totally changed the hallway which had a basic white bowl light. The detail, craftsmanship and ambience it creates is wonderful. Everyone notices it immediately and comments on it. We received the fixture much earlier than promised and the price was excellent too!

I have a small living room which is part of the path from the front door so I wanted a light that was unobtrusive in such a small area and it is. This house I just bought has massive quantities of flood lights.For each switch it would mean having at least four flood lights that would go on even for that living room, costing money in use and replacement and generating heat. Now I have a light that is easy to clean and change bulbs and the bulbs are small, energy efficient and cost effective. Plus it is very attractive and matches the furniture beautifully. It also was a really nice surprise that the base is wood.

This is a good size light for kitchen. It says for you to use 60 watts bulbs but I used the 100 watt Micro-Mini CFL(23watt) bright white and it gave of a much better light. It has to be the Mico's because the other bulbs are to long for fixture.
