We bought this to illuminate the porch area by a side door. It uses a fluorescent bulb that isn't easy to find at stores (a drawback), but can be found easily enough online. We like it enough that we will be replacing older fixtures on our deck with this one in the future.

I have this as my entryway, outdoor light. The amount of light it gives off is perfect for my space. The contempary design and small footprint makes this fixture not a statement piece, which is what I wanted. However, the contractor broke the CFL and we haven't been able to get the right replacement for it.
