We installed these on the deck off the kitchen. Our house is not Craftsman, but has a very Pacific Northwest vibe, and this design works great with it. The light quality is good, and gives a warm glow. We have the hanging version of this lamp at our front door, and it's beautiful - it gives out lots of soft light for our guests.

This fixture was easily approved by my HOA. It is attractive and lights beautifully. Looks more expensive than what I paid for it on sale. I had a little trouble installing one of them (I bought 4) because of the way the electrical box was installed not because of the fixture itself. I would buy this over and over.
