We're owned this lamp for about a year. Each time I walk past it I admire it - it gives me a sense of beauty and grace thanks to its clean, simple and timeless line. I'm able to adjust the brightness - generally I use it as a very soft lighting element to highlight a piece of artwork hanging just above the table where I've placed the lamp. Interestingly my shade is not white or off white; rather its black. I think it makes for a more striking look.

These lamps are beautiful and very expensive looking. The crystal is high quality. When the sun shines through them, magnificent colors appear on the walls. I am using them on two large night tables in a very large bedroom. I only wish the shades were larger. I feel the heft of the lamp can support a wider shade and I will replace them.

I was deciding between this lamp and the comparable/almost identical lamp at a national specialty store. I am thrilled to have purchased this instead - looks even better in person - a beautiful, statement making lamp. I love the full range dimmer because it gives light when you're trying to read or brighten up the room and then dims to a night light level when just relaxing. I have purchased two of these lamps now and they are some of my favorite decorating touches in our home!
