No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The lamp arrived today and it looks great. It's very stylish. The problem is the base appears to be lose and you can easily tilt it with touch of finger. The bottom of base is covered so I can't see what the problem is. Very disappointing. I'll contact Lamps Plus ASAP for a return.
