Although advertized as an indoor/outdoor fountain we soon realized this was not the case. We purchased it for our outdoor patio and unfortunately the paint began peeling within two months. We called LP and they advised we spray paint it (!?) We elected to send it back instead and they countered with a 50% reduction. We took the offer and regretted it as within 4 months the motor began clogging up and cutting itself off. We had to clean algae from the fountain at least once a week to maintain flow which is not easy to do (you have to take all the inside tubes out, clean them and disassemble the motor and clean it as well). Eventually the motor died (in less than 9 months) and we now use the fountain as a planter - it's only appropriate outdoor use. Bottom line - if you're thinking about buying it for your garden - don't.

I bought this fountain for my backyard garden. I enjoy looking at it and hearing the soothing sound of water. It is relatively easy to put together--but don't expect much help from the instructions...

I love our fountain...attractive, relaxing, adjustable water pressure for varied flow, beautiful design, great size for 14'x17' deck, looks especially attractive with hostas arranged at various levels around it. Highly recommend this fountain!!
