This floor lamp offers an exciting, modern take on lighting. It begins with a lustrous metal base. From there, a white vinyl shade extends upward. The shade is decorated with an Autumn branch design in black providing striking contrast. Very happy with this fixture. Using the maximum wattage lamps provides more light than desired so I've reduced the wattage and am very happy with the result.

This lamp, although offically a 'floor' model works wonderfully on a side table (if you have a vertical space to support it -ie vaulted ceilings). Because it has two bulbs, it gives good overall illumination - but it is not for task lighting.

This lamp gives a very nice light, but I suggest regular incandescent or halogen bulbs as my CFL just looks harsh. It was a little short to place on the floor but on an end table it is perfect. Plan to place it somewhere that you can hide the back, however, as there is a very obvious seam in the vinyl part of the shade. It is a dramatic & stylish lamp!
