Makes quite the statement

I thought long and hard before deciding to purchase as they are definitely not cheap. I looked at literally hundreds of lanterns online but kept coming back to this one. While the lantern is gorgeous, the daylight does little to reveal the magic and artistry of the colored glass. At night the lantern comes alive! I have one on my front door and another on my deck. They look fabulous. I experimented with an incandescent and CFL light bulb and while both are nice, the CFL greatly enhances the vibrancy of the lantern's colors. I only had them installed a few days ago so I cannot comment on longevity or rust. My electrician said they were very easy to install.If you like this style, which obviously isn't for everyone, I recommend this lantern. I believe this lantern would look equally at home regardless of your home's style.
