I would not recommend hanging this in the foyer because it is very heavy. I had it hung by professionals and they had a hard time hanging it because of the weight of the fixture.

this was hung on the high ceiling of a covered porch but displayed low enough to be seen when walking past the house. Stunning.!! Now several neighbors want to copy and I urge them to do so... never too much class from Lamps Plus.... becoming my favorite store.
