Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I used this to soften the transition between the new contemporary ceiling fan/light fixture and ceiling. Gives a more "finished/custom" look. It was very difficult to hang the fan. Difficult to center and new screws had to be purchased as medalion is over 1/2 inch thick.
