This is a beautiful lamp, but the color is VERY different than I was expecting. The photograph makes it look black and white, but it's really taupe and white. It turns out that I had wanted a taupe/white lamp, but I think it would be helpful to note that.

I purchased this lamp as my bedside lamp. It's even prettier than I thought. I originally purchased a different one for my bedside, but I felt it was very color coordinated with my Living Room. I then purchased another just like it and now they adorn my living room tables. WOW! Now I have this one and I can't say enough good about it. Is everything I expected and more.
