I bought the black clip on chandelier shades last year so I knew I wanted a black shade on the lamp in the dining room as well but I couldn't find the correct size shade until I found this one. It is wonderful and the fact that it comes with a harp makes it work with any smaller lamp (the original harp was too tall), it's one stop shopping. Like the other commenter said it doesn't give off a bright light but if this isn't your primary source of lighting it works wonderfully. I love it.
