Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The lamp did not work after installation, flipping the GFCI. A friend who is an electrician tested it. Lamp was fine, but bulb was defective and sent the lamp to ground immediately. Went to replace bulb, it is non-standard, as was therefore the socket. Went to change socket and found the wiring was fabric wrapped and already fraying. Completely rewired, replaced socket and placed a standard bulb. It now works, but only because of all we did to it. AND the GFCI problem cost me a freezer of meat.
