Built for speed as well as beauty, the Endeavour was created in 1934 by Thomas Sopwith and was the most impressive British sailboat to ever race in the Americas Cup World Series. Built to scale using plank-on-frame construction similar to the building of actual ships, each model is hand-made and artisan-crafted. The Endeavour model features beautiful hand-stitched sails that extend to the mast head. The deck is made of wood planks with a wooden cabin located in the middle. Various wooden winches are placed around the deck to wind up or out riggings when needed. The model is secured tightly on a solid wood base with a brass nameplate. This design will make a perfect gift for home or office decorator, boat enthusiast, or passionate collector.
