Lamp is lovely and strong (heavy). It comes with screw-on circular plastic things that secure the blulbs in place. One of them was hard to screw in because the alignment was a bit off. Bulb probably isn't going to fall out, but it's not in as tight as it could be. Highly reccommend. Love the dimmer and side lights.
