I like the lamp, and it provides great light for the dark corner of my family room. I like the tortoise shell font, but I think the base is "cheap" looking -- a little too shiny for my taste. But, I think I would need to pay a lot more for a nicer one, so I'm keeping it and I am sure will enjoy it.

I use this lamp in my living room. I use a 75 watt soft bulb instead of the 150 that comes with it. Even at a reduced wattage, it's perfect for reading, watching t.v. or just relaxing. It is a perfect addition to my antique furniture. All at a great price! p.s. I would recommend picking this lamp up at the store rather than having it delivered. I originally ordered it online and it arrived broken. I returned it personally to a Lamps Plus store (there was no problem returning it), and I wish I would have done that in the first place!

Very happy with this floor lamp. I was looking for a lamp that had a central bulb plus 3 smaller bulbs and this was it. My husband love to read by this lamp. At night I can use it for mood light by using one or all of the smaller bulbs. It has a nice long cord and was very easy to assemble.
