Only complaint is that even with a 100 watt bulb it doesn't provide enough light for reading and the bulb area is not large enough to provide for a larger cfl bulb.

Love these lamps--they look great with our traditional decor. Overall we are really pleased with these. My only complaint would be that the bulb area is too small for a cfl bulb big enough to provide enough illumination to read by.

Beautiful and well made with a great looking dark shade of a brownish color that matches the lamp perfectly. I was disappointed that the lamp is not very bright even with the 100 watt bulb and not very suitable for reading. I bought this through the Open Box free shipping sale and was very pleased except for some white glue on the cord that had to be cleaned off. Other than that, it was like new!
