Mushroom-shaped flushmounts can look pretty cheap and flimsy, as I discovered when I shopped at the big box home improvement stores. This one was priced right, seems high quality, and holds two lightbulbs so that so that can light a medium-sized room. I used these for small walk-in closets and a mechanical room, but would not hesitate to use for a bedroom.
