I placed this lamp on the counter in my small guest bath.... It matches the contemporary satin nickle, brushed chrome and stainless steel bathroom accessories. It provides a beautiful glow--and no sight of the light bulb. I get a lot of mileage out of this striking piece in my little bitty bathroom. I think that the lamp makes a really big difference

We have these on our bedroom dresser highlighting a Persian wall hanging. Their height would make them a great addition to a sofa table for reading (if you use 2 since they are only 100 watts apiece) or on a sideboard as accent lighting.
