Nice fixture but no pop

We hung this fixture in our front entry which has a high ceiling. The fake alabaster has a great look and glows with the lights on. We weren't happy with the nutmeg finish, it blends a little too much and we wanted more contrast but the alabaster was perfect. The light has good construction and is very sturdy. We had the 32" wide at first but downsized to the 24".

Great foyer light - can't see the bulbs

This timeless styled light is hanging in a 2 story foyer where the top of it can be seen by those coming down the stairway. Because it has a light deflector shield above the bulbs you do not get the bare bulbs glaring at you from the second story area. It gives off a beautiful white light that illuminates the whole area. We have also put it on an automatic system (automatic lighting/ dimmer- comes on 30% at dusk) giving us a beautiful glow when coming home at night.

I think I made a great choice with this light for my dining area and it fits in very well with my eclectic tastes! The light assembly isn't quite balanced though so the diffuser plate is higher than the rim of the bowl on one side and is visible from 7 or more feet away. This isn't a major problem and wouldn't even be visible if I were a shorter person. Hanging the light slightly higher would have been a work-around but it's a perfect height hanging above my dining table and I don't want to bother with shortening it another link or two.
