We finally got around to decorating our master bedroom. Because the room is large, we needed a big light that added that old warm charm but not compromise on the light needed for the room. My husband installed and we love it. The frosted glass does not hide the light needed, but gives it such elegance.

I loved this fixture so much I bought two. The first one I bought was for my dark 14'x20' living room. With 5 60w bulbs this fixture lights up the whole room! The semi-flush size stays close to the ceiling so people can walk underneath it without fear of hitting their heads. The fixture itself is a beautiful match for my traditional decor. It's an amazing value. I put it on a high-end dimmer that gives it a huge range of illumination - and no buzzing! I recently bought a second identical fixture for my 12'x20' bedroom. It's nice laying in bed looking at this beautiful fixture. I installed it myself, but it would be ideal to have a second person to hold the large glass shade when mounting it.
