Separate controls for the top and side lights. Hi-lo switch for the top light. 3-way switch for the sides. U.S. Patent # 5,221,141.

The Torchiere Floor lamps are used in our living room and have really added a touch of "class" to the dark areas. By illuminating the dark areas the room actually feels bigger and by highlighting some of the artwork in the room - they have added a touch of "class".

I looked high and low for a new floor lamp for my living room, that provided adequate lighting for reading and stitching. This was it! It is really attractive, and the lights can be on low or high, and only the top light or bottom lights turned on. Great options. The bottom lights are easy to adjust, and provide great lighting for my stitching in the evenigs. All around great product. Also arrived in just a few days after placing order.
