This light was a gigantic pain to install. The manufacturer decided to wrap all roughly 200 strands of beads separately in plastic bags, then use super-strong tape to secure the top of each plastic bag. Removing those only worked with cuticle scissors, it took weeks to get them all off in 2-hour sessions when we had time. We cut two strands in the process. There were exactly 2 replacement ones, but they had to be cut and tied exactly to length - on top and bottom ends - and clasped by a jeweler. The final assembly - on the top of a 14-foot ladder - was miserable with the heavy light not wanting to balance. Make sure all holes, including the inside ones line up, otherwise you may need to remove and re-install (ask me how I know). The strands were badly tangled and took about two hours to separate. Keeping the plastic wrappers on the strands makes de-tangling easier, but it's still a pain. I kept finding tangles stands for days after the installation. Removing finger-prints from the base is nearly impossible after it's hung, and there are many with the difficult assembly process. But once installed and sorted, the light is spectacular. It has a powerful light, and it's absolutely stunning. When direct sunlight hits it is sparkles and turns the ceiling and walls around it into a disco room with hundreds or tiny rainbows. You just have to make sure nobody touches it - the strands are very loose and can get tangled up easy. Not sure how we will deal with cleaning it or replacing the bulbs.
