In our whole-house remodel, we are focusing on modern lighting WITHOUT Halogen or fluorescent so that we can use the new LEDs - when the technology and price gets there. This light is perfect for that! It also looks contemporary and is very easy to maintain. The discription does not mention the one spring-loaded arm to remove the glass for easy cleaning. No screws to remove!

I wasn't sure about this light when I saw it in online, but I am so glad we purchased it. It is perfect for our short hallways, and as the secondary light in the bathrooms. What a lovely, understated addition to our whole house update. Couldn't be happier with them. Getting the glass in is a bit of a trick at first, but once you figure it out, it is smooth sailing!

We put two of the small size in our hall. From a ways away, you can see the white ceramic bulb holder (with blue print labeling, depending on which way the fixture is turned) over the top of the glass shade, probably not the case with the larger diameter sizes of this model light. One of the three arms is spring-loaded, and you pull it out to remove the shade. Nice, perhaps a bit pricey for what it is.

the fixture compliments the kitchen area that is open to the sitting room. i added a dimmer switch for low light. now i can have the best of both in one fixture. i ordered a different size for the upstairs hall/stairway.
