Chain links not straight

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This chandelier is feather weight, which is a good thing because hanging should be a piece of cake but because it is extremely light the chain links don't look straight due to the fact that the wires to the ceiling has to be looped in-between an alternate links. This causes the chain to appear bit off in some places, I think if it was heavier then the chain would straighten itself but this is the only problem I see.
Second thing, we were replacing our chandelier so we took the same measurement as the one that was hung before and cut off one foot of the chain. Despite the overall length of both chandelier being same, my wife and I think that the new chandelier appears bit short. I think it's the visual impact because our previous chandelier was bulky and long and this isn't, so despite the overall length being same this chandelier appears more closer to the ceiling than the one before. So double check before you remove the links.
The description on this product does not provide overall hanging length and the rep gave us incorrect information. With the chain, which is about 4 feet plus 15 inches of rod, the overall height is about 7 feet.
I only pointed the most important information for other buyers because I spent quite some time trying to get the data on it on the internet and I couldn't.
I don't like traditional lamps but this is a piece of art and eye catching, it didn't take too long for me to agree to this chandelier despite being a traditional style. Oh and there's a card on it that says "22nd Arts Annual Award Winner", which we didn't know it either.
