Although a bit pricey, this lamp is very sturdy and well constructed. This was a Christmas present from my folks this past year. It also somewhat matches the solid wood walls in both my den and the master bedroom. Hope to be owning and using it for decades to come.

The TOUCH & GLOW switch that I Purchased to go with this lamp did not work. It seemed to have a mind of its own, turning the lamp on and off at random times. When i removed it from the circuit the lamp worked just fine.

We wanted this to be a "touch on & off" light, but adding that device turned this great lamp into a demon. It turns on and off at will day and night, which made sleeping at night rather difficult for our 14 yr. old son. He loves the way it looks and the light it does offer, so we simply removed the "touch" control device and it is marvelous.

Installed the lamp over a recliner and use it to read by. Very helpful way to add lighting in a relatively small space. The color of the wood stain is somewhat darker than as shown.

I have lived with these lights (I bought two) a year now and they are just great. Contemporary without being too modern, and a nice dark color; the color on the website looks lighter than it is in real life. They are clean looking and we have them in our son's room; perfect because they are not frilly.
