This lamp is as functional as it is attractive. I like the adjustability of the light level, the pretty shadows it casts on the ceiling, and the antique black finish.

This was a very functional lamp. I used it for my bedroom above my nightstand. The only problem is that I wanted to use a CFL bulb, but this is a dimmable lamp, and it is very hard to find a dimmable CFL. There is one company that makes decent dimmable CFL's - PureSpectrum, but they are expensive. When the bulb arrived, I realized that the harp was too low. So I had to go out and buy a higher harp. Another confusing thing is that while the website description says it uses a 60 watt bulb, the bulb base says it can go even higher - 75watts. I recommend that if you are buying this lamp, go with a non-CFL bulb, or if you want a CFL bulb, go with another lamp.

Average made in China product. Basic design is good, easy to install, dimmable feature is great. However, there is nothing "bronze" about this Bronze Finish--it is black. Decidedly black. No hint of brown or bronze. Disappointed, but the dimmable feature is nice so decided to keep it.

We bought two of these lamps, hung them over our bed . Very nice reading light, also,since it has a dimmer switch it creates great ambiance!

We are loving the look of two of these lamps flanking out headboard. They give the look of a high-end hotel and have elicited many compliments.
