I needed a narrow table to fit into a small space. I needed a table to set drinks, etc on. I needed light. This is the perfect solution for all three. The quality is good and I like the simple modern lines. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lamp shade is yellowish, not white as stated in the description. I had to order a white lampshade from another company b/c there was too much difference in the colors for my decor.

I use it in my guest room in a corner next to the sofa bed, where there is no room for a nightstand. The lamp serves both as a night stand and a reading light. And it looks great, goes with almost any decor. The only thing that is not so great is that the shade cannot be changed out, in case I ever wanted or needed to.
