Darker than appears

Very nice lamp that we bought as a pair for bedroom. Unfortunately the lamp is much darker than it appears in the picture.

This is a lovely lamp, perfect for our room. The colors are warm and subtle. At some point, I'll buy silk shades for the lamps (I bought two of them). I'm not a fan of hardback shades and the one that comes with the lamp is a bit darker than I'd like. Nevertheless, they're very nice lamps [...]
