Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought two of these lamps for our nightstands. They are so stylish and I just love the tortoise shell finish - so rich and beautiful. Also love that it uses two bulbs. We put a lower watt bulb on one side and a higher watt bulb on the other so we can enjoy low mood lighting or reading lighting simply by selecting the right pull chain. Oh, and I love the pull chains - so much more fun than a traditional lamp switch.
