This light was installed yesterday in my dining area. It is beautiful! It is, however, very bright. I wondered, when others making reviews talk about dimmers, did they put a dimmer wall switch in, or did they have a special dimmer for this light?

I saw a high end fixture in a model home. At $1,500 it was not doable for my kitchen table area. So glad I checked Lamps Plus website and saw almost identical fixture at a price I was happy with. Couldn't wait for it to arrive. It was a pleasure unpacking and not being disappointed. The glass shades are beautiful and weighty with nice curves that reflect the light from the bulbs beautifully.

I instaledl the light above the contemporary glass dining table I recently got. And it was a perfect match! It seemed little bigger than I expected but it pleased many people with modern stylish look. I would recommend this item for high ceiling, fairly large area, because this illuminates Super Bright! Dimmer is a must option.

We love this lamp! It added such a clean, contemporary look to our dining room. I love using it on the low dim, it looks like a soft twinkle. Everyone that comes over comments on this light. The cons would be we had to have an electrician install it, and the bulbs aren't easy to screw in. Have only had it a month and a bulb has already gone out, but overall highly recommend this light, and the price was right too!

We used this light as a perfect replacement when we transitioned from a completely antique filled formal area to a very modern clean dining/formal lounge area. This light plays beautifully against our high gloss furniture, yet also gives a beautiful glow to the rich flat black and granite dining table. WE LOVE IT! It did take a bit of work to hang this light as our antique chandelier had a round base plate and this is a rectangle, which required a small amount of ceiling rework... but well worth it:-)
