This lamp is wonderful with a nice ans sleek dark wood twist design. We are using the lamp in the livingroom and the light is soothing and not over powering, but good enough to read with. The hight was perfect and cleaning is a breeze!! Putting the product together was super fast and easy, although it does take two people to manage the lamp. The package came on-time and quickly, all the parts were in the box along with a bulb!! and a small wrench so no extra tools were necessary. Overall the lamp is sturdy, works well and came with a wonderful lampshade (spider design) that is an off white-eggshell color with hourglass looking embrodery that is tan stiching. We are going to purchase another lamp shade to put on the table lamp in the livingroom to match!!! I would recommend this lamp to anyone looking for a contemporary and sophisticated look. I purchased this as a gift to my mom who needed to replace an old and outdated floor lamp for christmas, we have not had any problems and use it daily.
