Got this to mount above our outdoor shower. The light comes off in a fairly narrow cone, which is what I wanted. However, I think it would work better mounted low along a walkway. When you look at it from below, you see a bare bulb which is not very pleasant. Otherwise the design is nice, but quality isn't that great: the decorative ridges are attached to the backplate with tiny set screws that were too narrow for the holes, so the manufacturer had added gobs of glue in the holes. We had to fix some that were coming loose.
