Bought this mirror for a new construction house to go in the powder room. My walls are a light gray and the back splash on the vanity is navy/gray/white with brushed nickel fixtures. This mirror looks great with this color scheme and the square elements of the frame reflect the same shapes in my back splash. Since it is new construction, it has yet to be installed on the wall and used for any length of time. So, I can't comment on sturdiness and clarity of the mirror.
The mirror is a good bang for the buck but had had some minor flaws hat some buyers might find detractive. Upon receipt the mirror needed some minor assembly, specifically the glass mirror had to be mounted into the frame. The permanent mounting hooks/brackets to back of mirror only allowed for vertical installation however we managed to place mirror horizontally by hanging extended flat metal edge of mirror frame onto three screws placed into wall. While not the most secure method of mounting in this position, it would be better with hanger eye hooks at rear of mirror. Aesthetically the mirror frame sides (vertically) had two exposed flush fastening screws which held glass mirror in place. These are unsightly to the design of the mirror and an alternate hidden mounting method is recommended. Guess thats why its a good bang for the buck. It does however look good above the vanity in a contemporary design and lives up to the picture shown on-line.
We had 2 of these installed in our master bath, and the finish matched the faucets perfectly! Love the design!
The mirror is the right size for the end of a hallway and/or for reflecting light in any room. Beautiful design.
Beautiful accent to my guest bathroom.
We searched long and hard for brushed nickel finish in this size. Most were too small or too big for our requirements. We used two of these in a remodeled master bathroom. The metal frame adds a distinctive look that stands out from the other plain mirrors we saw (even though it may be a little difficult to clean). The glass was very difficult to install in one of them. Our contractor needed help from a glass store. This mirror is very difficult to hang because it has two hooks and you cannot get your hands inside to guide them onto the nails. All in all we like the look of our mirrors and they were the only ones we could find in the right size.Images/Videos shared by: The Jazzguy
