This chandelier was inspired by the gracious European homes of the past century, but is distinctly contemporary. These homes were famous for their luxurious interiors which incorporated extravagant detail. The decorative scrolls and fleur-de-lis that grace this fixture are emblematic of the ornate accents of the past. This chandelier fits well in a foyer or dining area. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We hung this in the foyer and it looks beautiful.It is constructed with real iron, so quite heavy. The glass also has a substantial thickness. Very well made, and very pretty.
