The lamp is great I love everything about it. really goes well with my decour. I'm a senior so I love the fact that I can turn it off by stepping on the button on the floor,or use the light switch on the wall.I don't have a problem with reading by it,more than enouft light. Great accent for my living room.

I had my heart set on this beautiful lamp for months but hesitated because my husband had reservations about not seeing the lamp in person. I finally ordered it during a one day sale and I love it. My room is contemporary with traditional touches. I have the lamp in a dark corner behind a sectional. The illumination is bright enough to read by and it gives a lovely touch to soften and warm up the room. I wish I had known that there was a tool to tighten the bulbs included (I did not find it until I broke down the box). I gave 4* because of the wobbly base, we can't figure out if it can be tightened. It is not going to fall over I would just prefer it were tight.

This lamp is beautiful and fit the space perfectly (I have it in the corner of the room behind a love seat that sits diagonally). My only difficulty was the cord. I had to position the lamp based on the cord placement (closest to the outlet) rather than the angle that was best for the room. But it's still beautiful!
