I purchased 3 of these, two in the 10" inch size and one 12" inch. I ordered them 2 days ago and received them today. Talk about super sonic shipping! The boxes they came in were huge and I wondered how big were these! well, it was because they were so well packed in layers and layers of pillow packing. Upon opening the box I was so thrilled! these are absolutely beautiful. I was worried my husband wouldn't be as thrilled with them as I was, but he was. They are perfect!

This is my new front porch light. It's more modern and updated than my previous light. A younger friend suggested my exterior street presentation would be better with an updated light. AND it covers more area so my front porch is better lit when I come home at night.

I bought 10 of these lights to replace all of the outside lights at my house. The house is old and wooded, and the lights add a lot to the old-style cottage garden feel of the yard. I love how much personality they add to my outdoor areas. I would highly recommend these. They are well made and pretty easy to install. The glass is a little hard to put in place, but once done, the lights look fantastic!

We bought 8 of these light fixtures for the following areas: front porch, front of garage, back yard deck, side yard, brick patio, side doors. Our house is old and quaint, and our lot is full of large trees, so these light fixtures are perfect. They blend with the feel of the house and yard perfectly, and really dress up the outdoor areas. As others have mentioned, the glass in the fixtures is a little hard to install. Just take your time, and it isn't so bad. We also had installation problems, because the wires come off high at a point where they hit at the edge of our fixture boxes. We had to do a bunch of installation modifications. But now that they are in, we absolutely love them! The metal is very attractive, and the seeded glass adds style while still allowing a lot of light out (we have no street lights or close neighbors, so our lights aren't just for looks). I also appreciate the large opening to change the bulb or clean the glass. The fixtures take regular light bulbs, so you can get the amount of light that you need. We used fluorescent bulbs to get lots of light with little energy use. The difference between these and our old fixtures is amazing!
