After 5 years, the metal of lamps was bare and some areas started to rust. The elements had caused the paint to slowly disintegrate completely. I had my 5 lamps powder-coated this time at a total cost of $75. I still like the design, so it was worth it. Note: undoing wiring for powder coating was tedious. Even more time-consuming was putting all wiring back in, after the powder-coating job.

I purchased 6 of these lamps to light my wrap-around deck. They are very attractive, provide good light and the design compliments the garden setting. One did arrive broken. I am waiting for a replacement to be sent.

The lamp post was the last lite of this grouping I've installed. It's beautiful on top of a cedar boxed post I built to display my newly landscaped front. My neighbor is on the local board for our public garden loves the lite and its synergy w/ the landscape. Highly recommend:)
