Installed this light kit as general overhead lighting in a medium-sized bedroom. Installation was very easy, directions very clear. It's exactly the kind of light I wanted, for general illumination when entering a dark room. Only wish it came in a light beige, although there is so very little white that shows, it does blend with the original fan fixture. I'm going to purchase another two, for other bedroms.
