We really like the look of the lights, we bought three, but two of them didn't work - bad ballasts. Hopefully Kovacs (whoever manufactures it for them in China) has fixed this issue.

Base is not drilled to bolt up to (old) 4 inch outlet boxes - I had to drill extra holes in the base to mount it to an existing box. It comes on instantly but takes a few minutes to reach full brightness (as do most electronic ballast lamps).
