I put one behind my TV and voila! It lit up that dark corner beautifully. I even use cfl's for energy savings. I plan to put two more in other dark corners of the room (in addition to installing other lamps). This light is small; not a space hog. These are a great lighting idea.

I purchased two of these lights to set on the floor behind my custom upholstered headboard. They splash the perfect amount of light onto the wall to provide dim to moderate light for TV watching. The cord is long, with a convenient in-line switch, the lights can be adjusted a full 180 degrees and there are pre-drilled holes in the base for wall/ceiling mounting.
