Nice update of an old classic. Like the color as a difference from the original lava lamp (ala The Prisoner), but the blue / green is more of a mood piece than providing useful illumination. Which is fine for my purpose, looks very cool (in both senses of the word) and calming. Like the big size too!

This is the largest lava lamp I've ever seen. I have a Sixties Music Room that this lamp is ideal for! It subtly lights up a dark corner & is now the focal-point of the room. Sometimes the yellow globs move slowly up or down with the music... This would make a great gift for any aging hippie.

If you like lava, this is the grandaddy. It does take a few hours for the lava to really get going, so you need to turn it on in advance of your party or whatever. It has a larger bulb than the smaller lamps, so gets much hotter.
