We use this product to illuminate a walkway. It is a simple design but casts out enough light to do the job. We got this fixture on sale for a really good price. It seems like it is constructed well so we're hopeful it will stand the test of time and not show signs of weather deterioration.

Easy to install, had to find a longer center mounting hollow screw because the brickwork was left uneven. Use a 15 watt florescent bulb and it is plenty. Scuffed the finish and sprayed it black to match my black and white house. Good price.

I purchased 3 of these for the front and back porches. The previous models were poorly designed and provided very little light for the porches and walkways. When the bulbs were to be changed, 2 people were needed, because the 6 separate panes of glass would fall out simultaneously as soon as the screws were loosened. These sleek new models have covers that are easy to remove. I also discussed the new LED bulbs with the Lamps Plus expert. He steered me toward a bulb that would be suitable for this fixture and was rated to last for 20 years, 8 hrs per day. Changing a bulb is not going to be a concern for some time!
