Although a swing-arm lamp, don't swing it too much! I bought my current one because the same model previous one broke from too much movement. The one I have now has problems with the on-off dial coming off. I like the look, flexibility, and function, but am not happy with its manufacture. I am being as careful as possible with it so it lasts me a longer time.

Great light but gets way to hot. We replaced the halogen with an LED (cost about $15 but well worth it) and now we LOVE it.

Have 2 of these installed as bedside lights in our Master bedroom. Just purchased a 3rd and hardwired to light some artwork on a wall we just remodeled. Only thing I don't like is they are VERY hot and once on for a while you can't touch them - even with the little 'handle'. I wouldn't use them around kids because it could burn fingers.

I needed a reading light for the master bedroom. My hubby doesn't like to read in bed, but I do. This fits the bill since it is sleek in design, easy to position on two parts of the stem and gives off great light so I don't strain my eyes. I really am pleased with this purchase. Don't hesitate to find something similar to fit the bill.

this wall lamp is nice to look at as long as you don't have to turn it on. The halogen light gets so hot that you can not redirect the beam without burning your fingers.

A pair of these are great as bedside reading lights, using no space of the bedside table. The pin up application also means the dog can't knock them off--always a +.
