Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This product CANNOT be used outdoors and the fittings between the glass and the base corrode and freeze making it impossible to change the light bulb - i have tried lubricating and nothing works - have to replace either entire fixture or just glass every time bulb burns out - am now replacing with different product - am a designer and am glad i did not recommend these for a client
