Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This lamp tucks nicely behind my bedroom door above 2, 4 in. deep floating shelves. A great spacesaving nightstand in my small room. Bright light, dimmer is great, sturdy constuction, smooth gears, can turn any angle, sleek design. Great for reading in bed or creating mood lighting. It will last for a long time. Now if only 1 could afford two more for the next room.
